The Telecommunications section reviews and approves private development plans in the cities Right-of-Way and Extra Territorial Jurisdiction to ensure the proper design and construction of Direct Antenna Systems (DAS), Wireless Service Facilities, and Internet Service Provider Infrastructure. The section reviews proposed facilities against criteria set forth in the City of Houston Infrastructure Design Manual, City of Houston Ordinance, and State of Texas Local Government Code.
