The Office of the City Engineer’s Standards Review Committee was established to review, revise, and update design and construction standards for all of Houston Public Work’s service lines. The year 2020-2021 annual review cycle involves review of water distribution, sewage collection, geotechnical and environmental requirements, and facilities and tunneling, specifications and standard details (Infrastructure Design Manual Chapters 7, 8, 11, and 14).
Public input and participation is requested by the submittal of proposals for suggested changes, comments, recommendations and supporting documents.
