Complete this form when applying for a Certificate of Occupancy for existing buildings or lease spaces except for Live Work units and Residential Facilities. For these types of properties, please use form CE-1045B which includes a Deed Restriction Declaration.

The Energy Compliance Information Certificate sticker has been updated to conform to the newly adopted 2015 IECC. The sticker can be used to comply with Section 401.3 of the Houston Energy Code or, if preferred, a builder can use their own compliance sticker. After it is completed and printed, the certificate must be attached inside the electrical panel. This sticker can be printed on Avery® Labels 6876.
