The Applied Technology Council (ATC) announced that with the release of ASCE 7-22, it will no longer update its Hazard by Location website to support the calculation of design loads for future editions of national codes and standards.
The City of Houston 2015 Construction Code does not reference the 2022 ASTM standards. You may continue to use the ATC Hazard website until a future code adoption includes the 2022 standards. The code provisions that will be impacted in the future are:
- IBC – Sections 1609.3 and 1609.3.1
- IRC – Table R301.2(1), footnote N
