The Office of the City Engineer is pleased to release a new guide to help engineers calculate detention rates for their plans.
Multiple detention scenarios for residential and commercial developments are covered in the guide. These examples are based on detention criteria in Chapter 9 of the Infrastructure Design Manual (IDM), effective March 31, 2021, and related governing documents. Outside of these examples, the IDM shall govern.
