The City of Houston's Administration and Regulatory Affairs (ARA) Department is proposing amendments to Chapter 7, Article VI of the Code of Ordinances, which regulates secondhand resellers. These amendments will go to City Council for approval.
Proposed changes include:
- Streamline the process for retailers who buy back and resell their own branded goods.
- Current record keeping requirements are being retired for retailers with these programs.
