Food personnel in possession of a current accredited national or State of Texas food safety card/certificate must obtain the City of Houston Food Service Manager’s Certification. Applicant may obtain a City of Houston certification by reciprocity.
This Certificate shall be posted in view of the public in the establishment where the certified person is employed. This certification shall be in the form of an identification card. This card shall be on the holder's person as proof of certification at all times while on duty.
Plan review is only required for unrestricted mobile units.
