The Permit office of the Building Code Enforcement branch is the starting and ending point for most construction projects. The section is the addressing authority for properties within Houston city limits and consist of Permit Technicians who prove three main services:
- Facilitate the online permitting process
- Assign addresses for properties located in the city of Houston
- Process Lake Houston pier billing
