The two forms used with our Emergency Responders Radio Coverage (ERRC) program have been updated. These forms are not effective until April 1, 2022.
The ERRC Initial Grid Test Report (Pretest) form is used to check for radio coverage in a building to determine if the building has the radio coverage required by code, or if a Bidirectional Antenna System is needed to be installed in the building to boost the signal and enhance the coverage to meet the code.
The second form, ERRC Special Inspection/Survey Report, is used when performing a Third-Party Special Inspection of an installed ERRC system, or when running a Survey for an existing building. Both reports should be submitted along with detailed Grid Test results.
