Process Change Notification: Drainage Plan for Plat (Office of City Engineer)

We are pleased to announce Drainage Plan for Plat is going electronic. Effective December 10, 2022, electric submittal will be required.

Submittal Instructions: 

The applicant shall submit Drainage Plan for Plat (the Plan) in accordance with IDM Chapter 4 – Platting Requirements and Ordinance Sec. 19-13. – Plat approval; issuance. A checklist is provided on our website for guidance.

1. E-mail the Plan and Checklist to [email protected] with the following criteria:

          a. Subject line: Drainage Plan - [Project Name] – [Company Name] – [ILMS Project # (If Resubmittal)]

          b. File coding: DRAFT Drainage – [Project Name].pdf

                  i. File name must be less than 45 characters, spaces included.

                             1. Ex. DRAFT Drainage – 1002 Washington.pdf

           c. File type and size: Single PDF file to be less than 10MB (do not lock PDF file)

           d. Body: Include the following Project Name, Engineering Firm, Contact Name, and email.

[email protected] will issue the payment invoice, containing ILMS# for project tracking. After full payment has been made, the turn-around time for review is approximately 10 business days. The review comments are accessible via City of Houston iPermits Portal:
