Permit Description

Subpoenas or requests for discovery that are issued in compliance with a statute or a rule of civil or criminal procedures are not considered to be requests for public information.

HPC is now accepting subpoenas at our location.  April Murphy (custodian of records) will sign for all subpoenas, and Open Records will process them.  Subpoenas may be hand served at:

After Approval

Customers will be notified via email, facsimile, postal mail, or by telephone that the information requested is either ready for pick-up or review. Use the link given to set up an appointment: https://coh.hosted.acftechnologies.com/AppWizard/AppHome.aspx. All public information may be reviewed or picked-up between the office hours of 8am - 5pm by making an appointment online.

Fee: $1 for records only. $10 for an appearance in court. $40 Federal subpoena and an appearance is required in court.

What You Need

Subpoena submitted by a Process Server with the apporate fee, addressed to 1002 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77002.
