Modular home (residence) Placement Permit
Construction of a new foundation and placement of a State of Texas approved modular home on a single family property.
Permit must be kept on site until final approval is granted.

2. Complete building permit application
3. Pay plan review fee(s)
4. Receive email invitation to upload plans.
Requires approval by structural, utilities, and planning. Certain conditions may trigger a required review by the stormwater, traffic and / or floodplain groups.
Building Permit Application and Complete Set of Plans Uploaded.
Once application is approved and the plan review fee (PX) has been paid, an email to upload and submit plans will be sent to the applicant.
Plans provided for the structure (other than the foundation) must have the State of Texas approval seals.
Approved plans must be on site for inspection.
To schedule inspections, contact the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System at 713-222-9922. Trade inspections must be scheduled by the appropriate registered licensed contractor.
