Annual Electrical Maintenance Permit
Upon making written application and payment of all applicable fees, a person having ownership or control over property may obtain an annual maintenance permit for the keeping in safe repair of any and all electrical maintenance work as defined by this code on existing electrical installations, apparatus and equipment in the building and on the property on which the building is located if the applicant employs a person as a full-time employee who will actually perform the electrical maintenance work.
Permit must be displayed on premise of property assigned to.
Non-scheduled inspections may be performed to verify property status.
Renewal invoices are mailed out 60 days prior to expiration date.
All electrical maintenance work has to be performed by a full-time employee.

A renewal invoice is mailed out 60 days prior to the expiration date. It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to contact the Electrical Inspections section prior to expiration date if invoice is not received.

Outstanding balances for prior years will generate under the new invoice and must be paid at the same time the permit is paid by applicant if ownership has not changed.
