To ensure safe clearances from obstructions and power lines to landing helicopters and provide safe distances from housing and structures from aircraft.

An Inspector visits the site to compare submitted drawings to the helipad site and verify ordinance compliance.

  • Heliport License Fee (for 6 Years) $1,877.54
  • Helistop License Fee (for 6 years) $1,564.62
  • Heliport / Helistop Annual Inspection $1,251.69
  • Temporary Heliport License (for 10 days) $ 125.17
  • Temporary Helistop License (for 90 days) $ 250.34
Apply What you need
  • A completed application (form CE-1320) and declaration
  • For all apartments, a site map of all the buildings
Apply Online Steps
  1. Submit a completed application via email to: [email protected]
  2. Once the application is received and processed, an email with a link and instructions on how to pay online via iPermits system is sent to the applicant.
  3. Once payment is confirmed, an email with an inspection date, RQ code, and guidelines is sent to the applicant.
Plan Review What you need
  • A site plan
  • A plot plan
  • FAA letter of airspace determination
  • FAA statement of no objection to approach and departure routes
  • Name of insurance carrier and proof of insurance

Inspection What you need

An Inspector visits the site to compare submitted drawings to the helipad site and verify ordinance compliance.

Inspection Conditions & Exceptions

Payment must be made the day application is processed; if payment is not made inspection will be cancelled.
