Valet Parking Service Operator Permit
Valet parking service operator means a person whose business is or includes the provision of valet parking service through use of a pick-up and drop-off point on a roadway or through use of the roadway as a valet parking storage location.
Permit and insurance must be available for inspection at city designated valet zone.
Parking citations
All delinquent parking citations must be resolved before permit can be issued.
Complete a valet parking service permit application and include:
- Proof of required insurance
- Warrant clearance from Municipal Court
- Conduct fingerprint submission for criminal background check
- Sign Indemnity & Release form
- Method of Payment: cash (in person only), check, cashier's check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Discover, MasterCard)
- Partnership Agreement or Articles of Incorporation (only applies to partnerships/corporations)

Owner(s) cannot have any applicable convictions within 7 years of application date. Applicable convictions can be found in the Houston Code of Ordinances Sec. 1-10 (b)4.
A renewal notice is mailed out approximately 1 month prior to expiration.
