About

Permit provides for parking in a designated commercial vehicle loading zone.

Commercial vehicle means a truck or other vehicle that displays one or more commercial vehicle signs, but does not include a taxi, limousine, or bus.

Commercial vehicle signage means one or more magnetic signs or painted letters on the front door on each side of the commercial vehicle stating, in letters at least two inches in height, the name, logo, or other designation of the person owning or operating the vehicle.

After Approval

Permit must be displayed on the rearview mirror of the vehicle when utilizing a commercial vehicle loading zone space.

Conditions and Exceptions

Parking citations

All delinquent parking citations must be resolved before permit can be issued.

 

Valid period

Permit is valid for the time frame remaining on previous permit being replaced.

 

Sales tax

Permit is subject to sales tax.

  • Either an affidavit for lost permit or HPD stolen report for permits reported stolen
