Houston Public Works Building Code Enforcement (BCE), in coordination with the Houston Fire Marshal’s Office, has updated the Deferred Submittal of Standpipe Systems (CE-1450) form.
Key changes include:
- General Contractor information is now required.
- Updated responsible party requirements.
- Revised responsibility statements for the Owner/Agent, Contractor, and Registered Design Professional (RDP).
- Separate signature sections for the Owner/Owner's Authorized Agent and the Registered Design Professional (RDP).
Applicants using the deferred standpipe submittal process should use the revised June 2026 version of the Form CE-1450 and review the updated requirements before submitting documentation.
